6/1-6/20

Yes, I took more pictures throughout this 20 day span.  And, yes, I'm too lazy to post most of them.  So this is all I'm doing for now. :)

This is a normal bunco night.  I'm wearing a flower crown because I was the Bunco Queen!  But we all knew that, right?! ;)

Here's the proof!

Ok, ok... she's growing on me! :)
She also tried to take control of the remote because she was sick of watching Whale Wars... I have no idea why...

Found this ladybug family in my bushes!  So cool!

5/12-5/31

Gosh, I feel like the month of May just flew by!  I got so behind on posting! :\

For Zach's mom's birthday, we went to the race track!  I had never been, and it was a lot of fun!

We won $40 with these bets. :)
Mother's Day lunch with the best mom in the world!

Apparently we're going back to the Gone with the Wind times and Ashleys are males again.

My students and I were filmed as a part of a documentary for mobile device usage.  It was really interesting to see how much equipment they needed for such a short clip.

Then they used my classroom to set up for my principal's interview.  That was even more intense!

It's wedding season!

St. Patrick's Cathedral in Fort Worth.

On our drive back from Fort Worth, we came across this field of sunflowers!  So pretty!

WHOOP!

This makes me feel old...

Bear trying his best to get in the front seat... I stole his spot lol.

She only looks this innocent...

I'd really like to hear the story behind this one.

"Hey mom... that looks like one of my bottles!" ;)

4/24-5/11: Birthday Edition!

My birthday was on the 6th, so here are some pictures from the festivities... plus some extras of course. :)

Birthday date night with Zach!  Sammi & James and Catherine & Josh came as well.  We went to Studio Movie Grill and saw The Avengers!  So good!

Some of my coworkers and I went to Perry's for happy hour to celebrate my birthday.  Here's the dessert they gave me... cheesecake, creme brule, and truffle!  Yum!
At Zach's church for volunteer appreciation!
They had a chocolate fountain there... we were all over it! ;)
Impromptu movie night with Hailey and Ruth Ann!  We saw The Five Year Engagement... it was hilarious!
:)
Photobooth at volunteer appreciation... too much fun!
Yay 5K!
(I'm a poet and didn't know it.)
This is Alvin Law.  He's from Canada and was born without any arms!  He came to speak to the 7th graders... what an amazing story he has!  That's a watch on his ankle. :)
My PreAP students presented their Pythagorean Theorem projects, and one group truly took the term "visual" to heart! Here is a "replica" of the fish tank they want to install in the hypothetical seafood restaurant they plan on opening.
Crazy desk!!
More photobooth fun!
I love this picture. :)
This is what Hailey did to my classroom for my birthday!  The kids and I loved it!  I even still have some balloons in my room. :)
Orange Leaf coupons lying around in the teacher's lounge???  Yes, please!

4/9-4/23

These pictures are going to be super out of order because I'm entirely too lazy to move them around!

Rami and I- Pajama Day at school!
Comic Sans is evil.  So evil, in fact, that I signed a pledge promising to consider other font options. :)
Here is the grading room at the Math & Science Team State Competition in San Antonio.  Being locked in here for 6 hours can make anyone go crazy!
A well-deserved night on the town!  At the Alamo after the competition with Staci and Rami.
My school does a fundraiser every year called Pennies for Patients for children with blood diseases.  Students bring all kinds of coinage to their classes so they don't have to work (that's part of the incentive).  Then, volunteers stay after school to count up all the dough!  This is only part of what we collected.  Grand total was well over $20K!!

Lots of cutting of small pieces of paper!
Moon phases in the Humanities building at the UTSA campus.
How fitting!  Beckendorff colored chips at Alamo Cafe!
We have an empty-glass-situation...
Torrential rains on my way to Cypress!
Best roomie ever!  She's my gecko hunter when they hide in my room...
The quarter-counting table for Pennies for Patients.
Glass art in San Antonio!  This thing was huge!
Staci said she wanted a piggy-back ride.  So Rob offers.  But Staci leaves him hanging.  So I hopped on! :)
Staci decided to take a picture of my "sparkle butt" jeans in the meantime. ;)
Talk about accuracy...
Lots of stacks!  Makes me super anxious...
